End-user license agreement
Effective August 25, 2026
This End-user license agreement (“Agreement”) is between you and the operator of Runtime (“we”, “us”). It governs your use of the Runtime web application, APIs, and related services (the “Service”). By signing in or using the Service, you agree to this Agreement.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service solely for your organization’s internal business purposes, subject to this Agreement and any invitation or seat assigned to you.
Accounts
Access is invite-only. You must keep your credentials confidential and use an account issued to you. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend access if we reasonably believe the account is compromised or is being used in violation of this Agreement.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- probe, disrupt, or overload the Service or its infrastructure
- bypass authentication, tenancy, or access controls
- use the Service to violate law, third-party rights, or your employer’s policies
- reverse engineer the Service except where that restriction is prohibited by law
- resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties without our written consent
Customer data and connected systems
You and your organization retain rights in the business data you submit, including chat content and data pulled from connected third-party systems. You grant us a limited license to process that data solely to provide, secure, and improve the Service for your organization. You represent that you have the authority to connect those systems and to process the data under applicable law.
AI output
Runtime uses large language models and tools. Outputs can be wrong, incomplete, or outdated. You must review results before relying on them. We do not warrant that outputs are error-free or fit for a particular purpose. You remain responsible for decisions made using the Service.
Intellectual property
We and our licensors own the Service, including software, design, and documentation. This Agreement does not transfer any ownership to you except the license above. Feedback you provide may be used to improve the Service without obligation to you.
Confidentiality
Each party may receive confidential information of the other. The receiving party will use that information only as needed to perform under this Agreement and will protect it with reasonable care. These duties do not apply to information that is public, independently developed, or rightfully received from a third party.
Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, even if advised of the possibility. Our aggregate liability under this Agreement is limited to the fees paid to us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars if no fees were paid.
Term and termination
This Agreement lasts while you have access. We may terminate or suspend access if you breach this Agreement or if your organization ends its relationship with us. On termination, your license ends. The sections that by nature should survive (including IP, confidentiality, disclaimer, and limitation of liability) survive.
Changes
We may update this Agreement by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the update. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
